About This Event
Kisumu — does your child have what this stage is looking for?
Not perfection. Not a particular skill. Not a certain way of speaking or moving or communicating.
Just themselves.
Mr and Miss Autism Kisumu 2026 is coming to Mama Grace Onyango Social Centre on 28th November 2026 – and we are looking for children and young adults living with autism from Kisumu, Nyamira, Homa Bay, Siaya, Migori and Kisii who are ready to step into the spotlight.
This stage has been built for exactly one kind of person – someone living with autism who deserves to be celebrated publicly, completely and without condition.
It has been built for the child who communicates differently.
The young adult who has been underestimated. The teenager whose school never quite knew what to do with them. The person whose talent has never had a room big enough for it.
This is that room.
At Mr and Miss Autism Kenya, we have watched children who had never performed in public walk onto a stage and change. We have watched parents cry in the audience because someone was applauding their child — really applauding, loudly, in a room full of people who came specifically to see them. We have watched the confidence built on that stage carry a young person through the months that followed.
That is what this is.
What contestants actually gain:
Weeks of preparation that build real confidence. Friendships with other families who understand the daily reality. A stage appearance in front of hundreds of people. A community that celebrates ability without conditions. And the experience of knowing they showed up and did something brave.
There is no cost to register. Attendance on the day is completely free.
Registration is open now for:
